Pre-Departure Preparation and Support
The staff at Mente Argentina is dedicated to providing you any assistance, information and recommendations you may need even before your program begins.
We are trained to promptly answer any question or concern which may arise before the program begins. Do not hesitate to ask us in-depth questions about the programs, options, weather, cost of living, what to bring, and anything else you can think of!
Airport Pick up and Transfer
When you arrive in Argentina, we will make arrangements to pick you up at the airport. From there we will take you to your accommodation, if it is a homestay, we will introduce you to the family members and if it is a shared apartment, we will introduce you to your roommates. Additionally, we will provide you with information about your first day in the program like how to get to your first activities and we will give you a schedule and a detailed welcome guide. We also provide transportation to the airport for your flight home once you finish your program.
Mente Argentina Welcome Package
Upon your arrival, we will provide you the Mente Argentina Welcome Guide, an easy to use guide we have specially prepared for our participants which contains information about public transportation, cell phones, key cultural information, hospitals, restaurant and activity recommendations, and a schedule with the month’s events!
Mente Argentina´s Card
The Mente Argentina Card is a discount card which provides exclusive benefits to the students on our program.
It will allow you to receive discounts and benefits in bars, night clubs, stores, salons, and restaurants around the country!

Free Cell Phone
Mente Argentina will provide you with a free cell phone so that you can stay in contact with your family and friends at any time.
The phone will also help you keep in contact with your new friends in Argentina during your stay. You will be asked to pay for a US $50 deposit for the phone which will be refunded when you return it at the end of the program.
There are no other fees outside of the deposit, the only thing you will have to pay for is cell phone credit which can be purchased very easily all over the city.
Free passes to a renowned gym
Mente Argentina has an agreement with one of the best fitness centers in Buenos Aires. The gym features state-of-the-art equipment and offers a great variety of classes every week.
Participants from all the programs can go to the gym and attend the classes seven days a week at no extra charge.
